In celebration of the Phoenix Art Museum’s 60th anniversary, this exhibition showcased select works of art acquired over the past ten years.
Between 2009 and 2019, the permanent collection of Phoenix Art Museum experienced incredible growth. This exhibition showcased select works of art acquired ten years after the Museum’s 50th anniversary. The Past Decade demonstrated the Museum’s firm commitment to diversity and artistic excellence through a careful selection of works from the departments of modern and contemporary art, Latin American art, American art, Asian art, and fashion design.
The exhibition included the painting Does a Broken Home Become a Broken Family (2019) by Arcmanoro Niles. The work is part of the museum’s permanent collection.
