For the inaugural edition of the Frieze Viewing Room, Lehmann Maupin presents never-before-seen works by Shirazeh Houshiary, Nari Ward, and McArthur Binion, coming directly from their studios in London, New York, and Chicago, respectively. These new works will be shown alongside recent and notable pieces by Billy Childish, Teresita Fernández, Lee Bul, Catherine Opie, Lari Pittman, Alex Prager, Do Ho Suh, and Billie Zangewa.
Together, these works showcase a remarkable diversity of media, including painting, sculpture, photography, textile, and large-scale installation. Whether monumental in size such as Suh’s North Wall, which measures more than 16 feet tall and 27 feet wide, or delicate in material such as Zangewa’s intricate collages composed of hand-stitched fragments of silk, every artist demonstrates a mastery of their material of choice and an acute attention to detail—within their work and the world that surrounds them.
In addition, Lehmann Maupin has exhibitions on view that are open to the public at our Hong Kong and Seoul locations. Visit these exhibitions in real life or take a deep dive online at lehmannmaupin.com where you can find rich content, including VR exhibition tours, artists talks, and curator-led walk-throughs.
